About

Josh Ermias first developed the idea in 2016 on campus at the University of Maryland. In 2019, the company developed its first prototypes. In 2020, the company launched a Kickstarter campaign.

As of October 2023, we have not fulfilled the Kickstarter orders. Developing our drones has been more labor-intensive and capital-intensive than anticipated. What we have done is develop a nearly finished version of the drone with a custom design almost ready for manufacturing. We are bootstrapping progress now.

We’ve identified that our drone has many applications and that 3D data is very useful. Real estate marketing, renovations, maintenance, and management as well as training, tourism, public safety, and inspections can all be positively impacted by 3D models, measurements, and 360 pictures. Our drone flies indoors capturing this content better than any existing solutions. The drone can also be used for creative and recreational purposes and manually flown wherever drones are able to fly.
